On 4 August 1875, Hans Christian Andersen died. Hans Christian Andersen is best remembered for his various fairy tales and fables. 

I love this quote " Just Living is not enough. One must have Sunshine, Freedom and a Little Flower".

The quote seems so simple and yet extremely important. In the late 19th century, Freedom was not guaranteed. The quote makes me ponder whom Hans Christian Andersen might have been considering when he wrote this.
