Back to School Memories

I remember being in Paris in September one year. The little boutiques and stores all were celebrating Back to School. With signs in the window wishing the young students "Bon Retour a L'ecole". I remember a small hand written sign sitting in the window of a traditional Parisian Patisserie. Now, that's a great way of wishing children well as they head to school - a sign sitting next to French pastries! Yum!

In France, Back to School happens in early September, unlike here in the US when most kids return to school in August.
